The Minnesota Wild are poised to add promising talent to their roster.
According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, highly-regarded defenseman prospect Zeev Buium might sign with the Minnesota Wild as soon as Sunday. There`s even a possibility he could play as early as Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks.
Buium, a top defensive prospect, recently concluded his NCAA season after his team, the Denver Pioneers, were defeated in the Frozen Four semifinals in double overtime by the Western Michigan Broncos, who ultimately became champions.
During his impressive NCAA season, Buium showcased his offensive capabilities, scoring 13 goals and accumulating 48 points in 40 games.
As the Wild approach securing a playoff spot, the addition of Buium could provide valuable reinforcement to their defensive lineup.
