AVC Men's Champions League 2026 Draw Finalized in Jakarta
The pools and initial fixtures for the AVC Men's Volleyball Champions League Pontianak 2026, Asia's premier club competition, have been determined following the official draw.
This prestigious tournament, set to take place in Pontianak from May 13th to 17th, will bring together eight leading teams, divided into two distinct groups.
In Pool A, the opening match will see Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi take on Zhaiyk VC, with Al Rayyan Ray also competing against Hyundai Capital Skywalkers.
Meanwhile, Pool B features SV.League clashing with Nakhonratchasima Qmin C VC, and Foolad Sirjan Iranian playing against Jakarta Garuda Jaya.
The top-ranked teams from each group will progress to the semifinals, with the ultimate victors earning a spot in the final championship match.
AVC President Ramon Suzara emphasized the increasing importance of the competition, revealing that the two finalists will secure berths in the prestigious World Club Championship, thereby significantly elevating the stakes for every participating team.
