Knight Monsters Bring Back Taylor
The Tahoe Knight Monsters, an ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights, have signed defenseman Kaelan Taylor. This marks Taylor's second full season with the Knight Monsters. Last season, he recorded 20 points (3 goals, 17 assists) in 67 games.
Taylor initially joined the Knight Monsters at the end of the 2024-25 season, contributing two points (1 goal, 1 assist) in five games during their inaugural campaign.
A native of Oceanside, California, Taylor had a notable collegiate career at Clarkson University, where he played 149 games and served as captain in his final season. Prior to his time at Clarkson, he played one season in the North American Hockey League for the Corpus Christi IceRays and spent two seasons with the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League, appearing in 105 games and serving as an alternate captain in the 2019-20 season.
