PWHL Training Camps Open November 18th

Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) teams are set to begin their training camps on Wednesday, November 18, 2026. This opening follows the conclusion of the 2026 IIHF Women's World Championship, which will take place in Denmark from November 6th to 16th.

As part of their preseason preparations, all 12 PWHL teams will participate in two exhibition scrimmages hosted in five different PWHL markets. These games are scheduled to occur between November 22nd and November 30th.

Three of the league's four new expansion teams will host these preseason scrimmages. PWHL Hamilton will host PWHL Detroit, the Ottawa Charge, and the Toronto Sceptres at Morgan Firestone Arena. PWHL Las Vegas will welcome the Minnesota Frost and Vancouver Goldeneyes to America First Center, while PWHL San Jose will play against the Seattle Torrent at Tech CU Arena.

The Toronto Sceptres will also host the Ottawa Charge at Toronto's Mattamy Athletic Centre. Additionally, the Boston Fleet will host the Montréal Victoire and New York Sirens at the Boston Sports Institute.

Each preseason scrimmage will consist of 60 minutes of full-game play with immediate stoppages. Following regulation time, there will be a 3-on-3 overtime period and a shootout, regardless of the score. PWHL training camp rosters, which will include between 28 and 32 players per team, are scheduled to be announced the week of October 5th.
