P-Bruins Secure Forward Cross Hanas

The Providence Bruins have inked forward Cross Hanas to a one-year agreement with the American Hockey League. This move brings a promising offensive player into the Bruins' lineup.

At 24 years old, Hanas achieved personal bests during the 2025-26 season. Playing for the AHL's Texas Stars, he recorded 15 goals, 23 assists, and a total of 38 points over 56 games, finishing with a plus-6 rating. Additionally, he made his debut in the Calder Cup Playoffs, contributing two assists in five appearances.

Throughout his four professional seasons with both the Texas Stars and Grand Rapids, Hanas has accumulated 41 goals and 47 assists, resulting in 88 points in 202 AHL games.

Hanas was originally selected by Detroit in the second round of the 2020 NHL Draft.
